The Art of Speaking Things into Existence
We’ve all heard the saying, “What you think, you become.”Thoughts
create things. James Allen, the author of As a Man Thinketh, says, “A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts.”I’m a firm believer in the power of thoughts. What we think influences our feelings, which manifests things into reality. If you constantly think negatively, that’s how your environment will be. And if you embrace things as they are and find positivity in them, you will attract more positivity around you. However, thoughts aren’t enough. Other elements also influence life’s circumstances. Our feelings, actions, and words have equal importance.
What you speak, you create.
Speaking things into existence is a powerful technique most of us aren’t aware of.
We find it easier to control our thoughts because they occur on the inside. Other people aren’t aware of what’s in our minds. So, it’s easier to use thoughts as a primary source of manifesting things into existence.
Speaking things is more complicated. Firstly, you can’t always do it when others are around. They might think you are crazy, repeating affirmations to yourself like a fool. However, you can speak about specific goals or aspirations in front of others.
Secondly, you feel stupid even if you do it when no one’s around. It’s because you are being delusional. You know that what you speak isn’t true. Maybe you’ll even have resistance. You don’t honestly believe in what you are saying.
Your words have Power.
In Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill emphasizes the importance of auto-suggestion in bringing your desires into reality. He says,
“No thought, whether it be negative of positive, can enter the subconscious mind without the aid of the principle of auto-suggestion.”
According to this, your words have more power than your thoughts.
“AUTOSUGGESTION is the agency of control through which an individual may voluntarily feed his subconscious mind on thoughts of a creative nature, or, by neglect, permit thoughts of a destructive nature to find their way into this rich garden of the mind.”
be delusional
The weird part about affirming what you want is that you know you are being delusional. You know things are different in reality and that life isn’t what you are saying it is.
Ironically, that is also the most significant part of it. Being delusional repeatedly makes your subconscious believe that that’s your reality.
Speaking false reality feels uneasy. But it’s worth it. All you have to do is believe it is true. Have faith and feel the emotions of it being true.
Your feeling is crucial. It has a significant impact on manifesting your desires quicker.
As Napoleon Hill says,
“If you repeat a million times the famous Emil Coué formula, ‘Day by day, in every way, I am getting better and better,’ without mixing emotion and FAITH with your words, you will experience no desirable results.”
“Plain, unemotional words do not influence the subconscious mind.”
Start speaking about what you want in life. Do it when you are alone. Look into the mirror and say things to yourself. Speak it with your friends. Do it with complete faith and emotions. Your life will transform precisely the way you speak about it.
